Our experience was severely let down by truly awful service, which seemed to come directly from the owner. We were told quite abruptly that our group couldn't occupy the booth with more than five people, despite having young children with us, leaving us to wonder where our extra child was supposed to sit. The explanation given, concerning children potentially burning their hands or choking if seated together, felt like a rather weak excuse. What made the situation even worse was the incredibly dismissive and unpleasant attitude with which this information was delivered. Given the poor treatment, we ultimately decided to leave. Frankly, the food isn't even that good to begin with, making the whole visit a thoroughly disappointing and unwelcoming encounter.

Having explored a range of options from their menu, I can confidently say every single dish I've tried has been absolutely superb. The garden omelet, in particular, is an absolute standout; it's truly the finest I've ever tasted anywhere. This place is a genuine treasure, and I highly recommend experiencing it for yourself.

My initial visit here revealed a setting that seems perfectly suited for the over-50 demographic; I could easily see my mother absolutely loving it. Unfortunately, the food itself was quite bland, offering very little in the way of flavor. My biscuits and gravy, though only $5, were notably tasteless, and the gravy had no meat whatsoever, prompting me to order a $3 sausage that was surprisingly tiny. My husband's grits also lacked any discernible taste, and the fruit served alongside was canned, not fresh. This experience ultimately led our planned large party of ten to decide on a different meeting place. On a positive note, the service was excellent; our waitress was incredibly sweet, and the older woman behind the counter was also fantastic. I'm glad they are able to serve the community, and I'm left wondering if perhaps I should have tried something different, maybe a combo, to get a better impression.
